Now for the last time you can watch it all, one after the other. So here goes, the series begins… (Click The Number Below For Episode 1) BEHIND THE SCENES Sunny Patel who played Taj told us he went on a roller coaster ride himself. A pharmacy Student at Cardiff University he had a background in dance and not acting. He was the only person to turn up to the audition unannounced but within the first few minutes James and Teilo knew he was right. They saw the talent and were sure they could get a performance. It was in the rehearsal week in a church vestry that James Robson, the director, learnt to manipulate his emotions to display what he needed. James found that he had to create situations far worse than were in the script to get Sunny to the correct feeling. After the incident at the end of episode one James told him he’d hit a child and had to say sorry to the mother. In trying to think about that James and Teilo felt Sunny happened upon the right note for the situation depicted despite it being a completely different situation. There were a number of times this tactic was used and Sunny came to many understandings even developing as an actor so much that the style of direction had to change in accordance to his own learnings. In truth he almost walked off the project. He wasn’t paid, he wasn’t even fed by us and he said he felt low at times. He was a gentleman throughout. We owe him a debt of gratitude. So I dedicate this slice to Sunny Patel, a man with talents beyond his realisation. I hope you enjoy. Tell the world! | Cardiff's #1 Internet Drama Watch the whole series at your leisure.
